BASIC COMPONENTS OF A AUTOMATIC SLIDING GATE OPENER
MOTOR
Motor is required for the process of smooth sliding of the gate on the racks The motor helps in handling the weight of the gate in the process of sliding and hence the motor must be heavy enough to handle the weight of the gate
CONTROL UNIT
Helps in receiving the input or command from the remote app, GSM and converting it into output. Example: You want to open the gate, and you press the open button on the remote or your phone and the gate automatically opens the control unit helps the execution of this process.
SENSORS
Two safety sensors are attached in front of the gate. One is the transmitter and the other is the receiver. These sensors help in sensing when a vehicle is passing by or in between when the gate is closing.
RACKS
They are welded to the gate. These racks connect with the pinion on the motor and assist the gate in moving freely.
